I hate getting on Google and leaving bad reviews, however, I don’t want another mom to have the same experience I did. I had a long drive with my three young kids and, being a single mom; I needed a cheaper, safe place to stop to give my kids a break from being in the car. The google reviews weren’t terrible and the hotel was right off the highway so I thought this was perfect. The lobby was the nicest thing about the stay. And probably the cleanest. Our room was so dirty that my children’s feet were literally black after being barefoot in there for less than 2 hours. I could tell right away that it wasn’t the safest place for me to be staying alone with my 3 kids. There were a lot of people sitting in their cars in the parking lot. The guy working the front desk didn’t say one word to me or even ask for my ID when I checked in. There were people screaming and running down the hallway long past two AM, doors slamming, cars in and out of the parking lot with super loud music playing, which, honestly I wouldn’t care too much about if it wasn’t so loud that it woke my baby up several times through the night. Our TV in our room wouldn’t work. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone to figure out the password to the WiFi so I couldn’t play movies on my kids iPad. I did not feel even remotely safe and the ONLY thing about the staff that was nice was the man working to get the rooms ready. He was kind and honest and I honestly probably should have left as soon as he told me that it wasn’t th
No one ever at the service desk, charged me a 20 dollar deposit after I paid for the week, no housekeeping services for the whole week, only coffee pods with no cups most of the time. Room was not very clean, room key card did not work the first time. I can go on.
The toilet in the room didn’t work, there were no towels, shampoo/conditioner or trash can in the room. There were only 2 pillows for 2 queen beds. Terrible stay that we got a refund for 2nd night and went somewhere else.
The hotel looked great in the lobby but the rooms weren't as clean. The front desk worker at night promised a late check-out for noon. I left in the A.M. to run an errand and they came in the room and 11 AM and told my guest to leave or pay an extra $20 for another hour. We decided to leave because that wasn't what was said the night before.
Had to ask for another room because the first one they offered was too dirty and the beds were not made. Second was “cleaned” but every inch of the room and every surface had dirty rag streak marks on it. Some really weird people hanging around as well.
I took advantage of their week stay rates, and when I arrived it was an easy check-in process, at first I didn't realize that the room i stayed in was a handicap room, and as from one who parent were disabled I felt bad by staying that room because I wasn't disabled. So I asked the front desk to see if I could move to another room, they said it would be ok.
As for the building and the rooms, when I walked into the second room after moving. The room had a weird odor and the floors were a little sticky, and also it looked no one swept in a while, but to be fare I think they only had on person cleaning the rooms. But those things are small and can be fix easily, so that didn't bother me at all.
When I stay in a motel my concerns are safety, friendliness of the staff, and the over all feel of the place, and those things were meet when I stayed there.
The from understand it just open under a new
management, and yes there will be bumps along the but in the end it was a nice place to stay for a couple of days or a week.
I checked in, and first thing I noticed was that overwhelming smell of cleaning products. I know the room is cheap, I'm not expecting 5 stars. But the smell was so strong it gave me a headache after just a few minutes. My room was two queen beds, and there was one pillow between them. Not even each. The room curtains wouldn't completely close, I had to prop one of my bags against the fabric to hold it shut. Whatever, I was just going to deal with it. Left my stuff and came back after a few hours, only to find my room door open. That was the final straw. I told the front desk clerk, and was told I couldn't get a refund because I booked through Expedia. I checked out that same night. Still waiting to hear back from Expedia on getting a refund.
