I chose the Grand Nikko for its proximity to Disneyland - the monorail station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and from there it is one stop to Disney Sea and three to Disneyland. My room was large with two single beds, and a view over the parks. You could see the fireworks in the evening. Staff were very helpful and I got a prompt response to a query after I checked out, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was included and a varied menu. The process for registering every morning is a bit convoluted and I’m not sure what it adds - but I was there at a quiet time and perhaps it is useful when the hotel is busier All in all - a very good stay and I would happily go back.

Excellent location and excellent hotel. Staff is extremely kind and helpful even when there was a little bit of a language barrier. Rooms are super spacious and clean. It’s just steps away from the monarail or if you don’t feel like walking they also provide a shuttle to the monorail. The lobby is stunning. There is a small convenience store as well as a separate Disney gift shop. I would highly recommend this hotel if going to Disney in Japan.

Wonderful experience!!!

We stayed at Grand Nikko as a family 2 adults and 5 children. We booked here as we attended dianeyland and disneysea. We had a wonderful experience the room was amazing with a bakcony and view over the water. The breakfast was amazing huge selection, loved the continental, Japanese style and the kids breakfast area. The service was amazing catered to our every need. Highly reccomend. Also loved the disney shop and convenience store within the hotel. We used the pool cost approx $100 for all 7 but well worth it especially after a big day of walking. They have a free bus that drops you to maihama station here there are many restaurants and shops. From here you get the monorail to disneyland and disneysea.

I liked the location. Close to the Disneyland and Disney Sea Monorail. The front desk upgraded us to a room on a higher level and had views of the Disneyland castles and the Disney Sea volcano! I can’t say enough amazing things about Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — the staff was so friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. You genuinely feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout your stay. The hotel itself is stunning — beautifully designed with so many spots that are perfect for photos. It’s also very safe, spotless, and well maintained. We had a Bay view from our balcony, and it was absolutely breathtaking — such a peaceful and scenic way to start and end the day. Location-wise, it doesn’t get better. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the Disney monorail, which connects you easily to the train station and the parks. Super convenient for Disney visits! The rooms were surprisingly spacious, especially for Japan, and everything was immaculately clean. The amenities were top-notch, and every detail felt thoughtful and high quality. This will definitely be our go-to hotel every time we come back to Tokyo Disney. We truly had a perfect stay — beautiful, relaxing, and memorable. Highly recommend!

This hotel was conveniently located to the disney parks. We really liked that they had buses running to the monorails and Maihama station. The front desk staff were super friendly, and made check in run smoothly. The lady at the desk was kind enough to upgrade our room without charge and they offer to drop your luggage’s to your room while you roam the parks. One of the downsides of this place is the amenities are outdated, but nonetheless it was a convenient place to stay for a night

This hotel looked absolutely stunning. I didn’t realize this was also part of the Disney hotel monorail line so it made it very easy to get to Disney with a toddler. We just got a standard sized room and it was very roomy compared to many other hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan. You can also pay for breakfast buffet ($23) at this hotel and it’s a good variety of choices. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

On a Japan trip and spent 2 days at Disney. Without being on resort property, this is the next best thing... across the street, and easy service to both the monorail and the Maihama station.
