Nohga Hotel was a fantastic find. What the immediate neighborhood lacks in shopping and dining options, it makes up for in proximity to Ueno Station and its overall top notch accommodations. It was comfortable, clean, super friendly and very sleek and modern. I would stay there again 100%. Highly recommended.

Awesome and attentive service by the staff upon check in and make you feel comfortable. Once you check into your hotel room, the extension of their warm services translates to a comfortable space for a great stay near the Ueno Station. The surrounding is accessible to many food and service stations. Would highly recommend staying here in Tokyo Ueno!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The room had everything you needed, was a good size, well presented and quiet. The property was located perfectly to explore the area and in very close proximity to the rail station to explore Tokyo. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Nohga. Ueno is such a beautiful, family-friendly area. Close access to the park, the station, and some great restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and helped us recover a lost item!

Modern, hip, design hotel about 10 minute walk from Ueno station and Kasai Ueno station (for express train to/from Narita airport). In the middle of a vibrant neighborhood,,with a matrix of narrow streets and allleys filled with dozens (hundreds?) of restaurants of every kind. Compact efficient lodging with Western bedding,helpful staff, gadget-filled rooms ;flatscreen TV, Bluetooth speaker bedside, etc. just what we needed.

Staff was very polite and welcoming to us when arriving. We arrived in the rain without our umbrellas out and very lost. When we finally made to the hotel the staff made sure we were dried off and taken care of. We appreciate everything they've done and would highly recommend!

Love the Friendly Staff!

My husband and I stayed at the Nohga in Ueno in May 2025. The staff was so friendly and helpful! We weren’t used to the level of service they provided, especially at a hotel in this price range. The room wasn’t large, but it was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to have both of our carryons open in the room. It’s located near a 7-11 and is about a 7-minute walk to Ueno station. Right across the Main Street there is Ameya Yokocho, an area full of izakaya and shops. It’s also easy to get around Tokyo from Ueno station. So glad we stayed in Ueno instead of busier Shibuya or Shinjuku. Would stay here again.
