The staff were so lovely at this hotel. We were instantly made to feel welcome. They took our luggage for us we had sent via Japan post earlier and kept it for us while we made our way back to Tokyo from Nagoya. They were quick to check us in and out. The breakfast was complimentary. It was a nice end to our trip. Thank you!
It is a great hotel, however just across the street from it is a fire station. Therefore, there were frequently firefighters being dispatched and sirens from across the street.
Other than that, it is a very good hotel. The breakfasts they served were excellent!!
I have stayed three times here, each time I have been pleased. A lot of little shops around, but quiet. The complimentary breakfast is really good and I appreciate the deep bath tubs. All in all a great value.
The neighborhood is old and not the most pretty ; doesn't feel like it's Japan. The pictures about the hotel, the room, the food and other things looks nicer with a classic feels, but in reality it's just old. In fact, it's a very old hotel with old facilities, and food is the worst we've ever seen. We do not recommend at all.
stayed for 2 nights by myself. overall good. especially enjoyed free breakfast buffet. also got a complimentary token to use at the vending machine. the room is a decent size. still enough space to put everything out that I need. for the price you pay its good. bathroom is clean. I did notice a corner of the room was skimped on the vacuuming but I dismiss it since its a place no one touches anyways. very few negatives which are bed was a bit uncomfortable. its a spring bed with little to no padding. also the rooms are pretty sound proof except you can hear those who pass the hall. but you can't hear the neighbor in the next room. overall i would come here again
Liked everything about the hotel, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Location was very good. The only thing that I would suggest is a better bed because you could feel the springs in the bed when sleeping , other than that I would come back to this hotel again for the convenience and closeness to the minami-asagaya subway station and 10 min walk to asagaya station
This is our first trip to Japan and we couldn’t have had better accommodations . Room had everything we needed, Staff was friendly and efficient, Breakfast Buffet and Lobby Coffee amazing. Thank You
Convenient location, friendly staff, rooms are comfy

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Pros: -Location. Walkable to JR Asagaya(or Ogikubo), too. Interesting shops and restaurants. Walkable to a local park (Zenpukuji river trail). Note: I am a hiker.
-Amenities are reasonable.
-Great breakfast to fulfill most of the nutritious elements.
Cons: -Almost no fruit at the breakfast.
-Security from outside.
-Needs to replace the room key with a digital card like other hotels
Just a few minutes walk to station. Have some restro nearby. Not too much shopping but just a few stop to Shinjuku. Serve good breakfast. Will will stay here again next time
