One aspect that makes Hotel Gracery Shinjuku unique is its theme—Godzilla. Due to its novelty, it was worth staying at this establishment. In addition, the staff was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. The amenities were nice, and the location was at the great for those seeking nightlife.

Right in the middle of everything in Shinjuku. If you want a quaint area - this is not your hotel. If you want to be in the middle of everything and don’t mind crazy streets, this place is great.

My husband and I stayed here for one night in May 2025. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel’s theming was so cool! Having the props right near the lobby was such a neat experience. Our only complaint was for the room itself and this may just come from us being American. Our beds were fine, but not comfortable, and there were no blinds or shades, so the 4:30 sunrise was impossible to sleep through. I do wish they would open up the balcony area again - it would have been a full experience to see the Godzilla head closer!

The night view was remarkable, with the clock illuminating a variety of colors throughout the downtown area of Tokyo, Japan. The only issue was that a female staff member failed to recognize me due to her color blindness, and her supervisor swiftly resolved this issue as she was a new trainee.

Decent hotel in bad area

Room is little small, nice bathroom. Will never stay in Shinjuku again. Drunks passed out on street, left a sour taste on our Japan trip.

**CAUTION** This hotel is not family friendly as it is in the red light district. After dark the hotel is surrounded by street walkers displaying themselves for purchase. The hotels main draw is the Godzilla statue and it 8th floor deck was closed during our entire trip. The main draw of the hotel was closed. The hotel itself and staff was great. friendly and clean, but the area of town is NOT family friendly.
