Take 7 mins walk to the hotel from the nearest station. Hotel is clean, quiet , and staffs are helpful. Close to shopping and all kinds of eateries, restaurants.
It's our second time staying at this hotel! The location is convenient, and lots of food choices in the area, which is helpful! Room and washroom are clean and functional! The checkout time is at 10 am in the morning, but can be extended if you pay extra. I would come back to this hotel if I'm in the area!
The hotel was nice. We picked it as one that was more budget friendly, but it was well cleaned, offered all basic amenities, and was near the touristy bits of Asakusa on a quieter street. My only, and this is purely personal, note is, the beds are more Japanese style and very firm. I personally had a bit of trouble getting comfortable on my side, but it was clean and functioned as a bed.
EXPEDIA SOLD A ROOM PACKAGE THAT WAS NOT HONORED BY THIS HOTEL - EXPEDIA THEN DIRECTED ME TO PAY FOR ANOTHER ROOM THAT EXPEDIA AGENT INFORMED ME THEY WOULD REFUND ME WITHIN 72 HOURS - THEY THEN REFUSED TO REFUND $780 EXTRA I PAID OFFERING INSTEAD POINTS A FRACTION OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE MADE. EXPEDIA AND THIS HOTEL NEGATIVELY IMPACTED MY STAY IN JAPAN, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EXPEDIA OR HOTEL ANN ASAKUSA AGAIN. I AM CURRENTLY FIGHTING TO RECLAIM THE REFUND.
The staff were amazing and really accommodating. It was easy to locate via many transit lines.
Only downside is that the beds were not comfortable and it was not quiet.
The property is in a great location and staff very friendly. If you aren’t used to very firm beds, I would suggest any longer than a couple of nights might be too much. They are incredibly firm.

rooms and bathrooms were very small!!
very accommodating staff as we arrived a day late due to flight delays. kept the room for us and let us check in early then next day once we arrived.
very close to local train station, convenient stores and walking distance to lots of sights!
First time staying at Hotel Ann Asakusa. I liked the quiet location that was close to both Ueno and Asakusa (right next to Kappabashi street). Pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet it was. Also a plus that they have 3 washer/dryer machines on the first floor for laundry.
Location was great really close to the famous cook wear district, and the temple. The amenities were also great, with a lobby stocked with personal things, with a vending machine, and microwaves for late night snacks! The room was spacious with a double bed and small sofa.
The only downside was the bed itself. Many others had wrote the bed was uncomfortable and hard. And unfortunately it was true. I do think I was so tried after so much exploring I wouldn’t have a hard time falling asleep. So it’s not bad just not the best.
Overall I do recommend the hotel for its other great amenities!
This place was awesome. The people were great. Their response times were fantastic. Really nice. The room was great as well. Would definitely come back.
The hotel room is small, tho there are 2 twin bed, bathroom is also so small, my husband is 6 foot 2 inches, my son is also tall. I know it is basic in Japan to have smaller rooms, but we didn’t anticipate how small the room could be. We have to stay in the lobby most of the time so we can breathe. We don’t need to ask for toiletries because it’s in the lobby as well as coffee and tea w/c is a plus. The hotel
keys needs to be replaced, it’s too old and worn out. Staff are nice, we don’t really see them because whatever we need, it’s in the lobby.
