Not what I expected at all for the $. The location was good but that’s it for me. Felt like a dormitory. Hallways freezing. Rooms smaller than average in Japan. No coffee in room or at hotel except for purchase. Staff was helpful somewhat but mostly on their laptops. Everything is self check in and out. Just not my cup of tea. No maid service except for towels and small trash. One thin towel. For the money, there is better.

Nice hotel with a quiet loxation.

First I would say this is not what I would consider a four star hotel. The room was a touch dirty on checking in and there were stains on the carpet. With the bad out of the way it was a nice hotel well located away from the business of Shibuya but still not a far walk to either the scramble crossing or the train lines. The room was standard Tokyo sized and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff were really awesome and I liked the styling of their front desk.

The staff at the hotel made all the difference, space was smaller then anticipated and the rooms weren’t the cleanest the sheets had stains on them, but the staff made up for everything they were super helpful and always willing to lend a hand! The location was also great, it was walkable distance to everything but it was also in a nice quiet place away from all the hussle and bussle at night.

Review: Overpriced and Unfriendly Service – Better Options Nearby Stayed here for four nights, and while the location is convenient near Shibuya, the overall experience left much to be desired. The staff speaks English, but they are not particularly friendly or accommodating. When we requested to extend our stay for one more night, they quoted a significantly higher rate than what we originally booked online. Instead of matching the rate or offering any flexibility, they simply told us to book online if we wanted a better deal, showing little interest in retaining guests. The service lacks warmth, and efficiency is not their strong suit. It seems they take their proximity to shopping areas for granted, leading to a generally indifferent attitude. The rooms are also smaller than expected, and if you take the time to look around, there are much better options with larger spaces at a similar or even lower price. Overall, this place may be convenient, but the service and value for money do not justify the stay. If you’re looking for a better experience near Shibuya, there are definitely superior alternatives available.
