No WiFi in rooms one row back from beach, outlets didn’t work and water off one morning. ‘Mountain View rooms’ had no windows. Great location but property needs work and front desk staff needs customer service training.

I would love to give the place a better review. The location is perfect, the pool area is great (pool could be a tad warmer), and the staff was generally great. We could not overlook the overwhelming septic smell around our casita. I brought it to the attention of the gentleman at the office but nothing was done to remedy it (the tank was left uncovered because of some work being done). We travel to Mexico often and are used to the showers off gassing a bit but this was something else. It was difficult to sit on the patio.

It was pleasantly quiet, after we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel near Cabo. The staff were pleasant, the food was good and the beach was good (you can't go in the water at the Hard Rock beach because it is dangerous there).

Cerritos Surf Town is perfectly located on the beach with great views, several restaurants, and surf. The facility could use some improvements but the location trumps all. I love some of the enhancements they have put in but believe it could be so much more and can make it a premier hotel on the beach.
