Sleepy lagoon is a great motel - the rooms are spacious and have everything you need - you can borrow a big electric frypan and utensils and there is crockery and cutlery etc for a self contained stay. The pub next door do an awesome pizza but it is a pretty creepy joint, run down and some colourful clientelle. It is a shame really as it could be an amazing venue. I would recommend a stay here - great price too but if you want a drink go to the Golf Club or Yacht club and give the pub a swerve,

Only spent one night here but the managers were great at accommodating our late arrival. The property is very quiet and well kept and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

Cleaner started cleaning next door at 8.30. Loud and unfair to guests staying more than 1 night. Lady receptionist not friendly. She didn't even say thank for staying. We had to ask for cooking equipment, it felt like it was a big bother for them. Wind whipped through the shutters so was cold.

Lovey clean large rooms with a very convenient location right next door to the local pub with dining options. We were there to see the dolpins and was given good local information of what to do. The host was very accomodating with a guest who had an elderly parent and gladly upgraded the room to be more convienent to the car park. All in all, would highly recomend this as a place to base yourself to explore the surrounds of Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach.
