Elegant facility with a few wrinkles

Overall we liked the hotel, spacious room, comfy bed and welcoming staff. Fabulous pool area and we tried the tapas restaurant for dinner and it was excellent. What didn’t go well. I used chat function to advise we would bring our dog and got a response this was no problem. When we arrived at 17:30 they had no record of this. They were nice about it and brought a dog kit to our room shortly after check in. Our room was not completely set up, no robes, slippers or towels for the room. Toiletries you would expect in the bathroom were also missing. When we went to reception about 9:30 the very kind young man on duty had to scramble to get robes for us from unoccupied rooms as they were out. We were a bit disappointed in the attention to detail but the staff did help out to fix missing items. Maybe there needs to be a quality check on rooms? Lastly trying to put the key card in the receptacle to initiate power in the room is quite difficult in the dark, maybe have a motion light as in the closet to remedy this? Breakfast was picked over before 11am, no rolls or fresh bread, croissants were scorched, even though it should be open until noon. Hot items were cold. This could be better We do hope to stay again, so I hope you’ll take the feedback as constructive not merely complaining. Much about your hotel is truly excellent

One-night pit stop en-route from Sweden to NL

Firstly, the room was huge, the balcony was massive, the bathroom & bedroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rest, however, is run down and past its sell by date. The furniture is old & bedraggled, the swimming area reminded me of communist Czechoslovakia as a boy and the bar & main restaurant are definitely straight out of the 80s! It was all bearable and the members of staff I encountered were all lovely, but I'd not likely stay here again.

Meritim clubhotel and Meritim hotel is different

There are two hotels at that place: Meritim and Meritim clubhotel. This clubhotel is on the second or third line of the beach, found on a little mountain. Its about 5-7 min. walking from the beach. But if you want get in by car for first time it not so easy: no one flag (indexes) on the road!!! You can see the hotel, but can`t get in by car!!! Its horrable! It has a payment parking, small spa zone and some activity areas outside. Breakfast is big and different, personal in restaurant is very friendly. Rooms are comfortable, but not for 4* hotel. Internet access is very expensive (8EUR per 1 hour). So, if you want sleeping well and get good breakfast , its not bad choice!

will never go back

The Hotel is outdated, even if there is a gym and pool. On 2 occasions we had breakfast and at 12 euro per person way over the top and not worth it. Also you need to pay 5.20 euro for each day of stay a so called "Kurtax". Timmendorf is rather expensive with not a lot of choice, even so the promenade is really nice for walking apart from that not much.

Viele Leistungen im Hotel inklusive- Pool & Sauna, Billiard, Tennis, Fitness, Bowling. Super Frühstück! Zimmerausstattung war super, mit Mikrowelle und kleinem Kühlschrank. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Entfernung bis zum Ortszentrum ist etwas lang mit Kindern! Wir hätten die Fahrräder mitnehmen sollen.

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern unten einen großen Pool. Die Hotelbar ist sehr gemütlich und komfortabel, sehr nettes Personal. Der Bierpreis ist für eine Bar ok, Mischgetränke finde ich zu teuer. Das ein Hotel vor der Saison renoviert werden muss, dafür habe ich natürlich Verständnis, wenn man sich beim Frühstück aber durch den enormen Baulärm nicht unterhalten kann, das geht eigentlich nicht.dann muss ein bisschen später mit der Arbeit begonnen werden...beim Abendessen mussten wir zwischen den Gängen enorm lange warten. Wir waren dreimal abends im Hotel essen, an alken drei Tagen konnte wir nicht wirklich gemeinsam essen. Die ersten waren mit dem Essen schon fertig, da haben zwei von uns ihr Essen erst bekommen. Das Essen an sich war gut, zwei von uns hatten kein warmes Fleisch..bei mir war es gut...ich möchte hier erwähnen, dass wir ( 10 Personen) und nur 5 weitere Personen dort essen waren...eine weitere Sache störte mich. Die Parkgebühren sind mit 19 Euro pro Tag ziemlich hoch. Wenn eine Familie anreist und nochmal zusätzlich ca. 150 Euro dazu kommen..na ja..Insgesamt bleibt zu hoffen, dass die angesprochenen Auffälligkeiten der Vorsaison geschuldet ist und der Baulärm beim Frühstück irgendwann wegfällt (man hätte beim einchecken darauf hin weisen können)..sonst war alles sauber, schöne zimner, gute Ausstattung..
