Just alright

Upon check-in I was greeted about 5-10mins from walking in the door had to wait for someone to come from back room to experience, what I felt as if I was interrupting someones breaktime. It was approximately 9:05 when I walked into the lobby. He asked if I had additional rooms: "to which I replied, no! He replied good we're sold out. I just replied ok, I just replied, i I just need one room for the reservation I booked a month prior through Hotels.com. To which he replied that's the problem. Um wasn't aware booking through a third party was an issue. The room was decent enough, couch had seen better days, there seemed to be a moisture issue in and around the Jacuzzi in the room some of the tiles were barely hanging on. The top sheet had stains as did the couch. The bathroom amenities are rough on skin, and hair from TP, shampoo, conditioner, and hand lotion. The breakfast is a basic fake egg, and pork sausage. Also wheat or white bread to toast, one type of generic yogurt, but there was waffle maker. I just had coffee and a chocolate muffin that tasted like chemicals, but the nutri-grain bar was tasty.

Good for the price

The stay was great. A 2 night stay, 2 beds, comfy and clean. Little bit of noise but not too bad. Smelled like weed in the hall Saturday night but whatever, people like to party. Front desk was always attentive and kind. Spacious room. Super close to Waffle House which was a plus and free continental breakfast!

The guy at the front seat was trying so hard to engage and be friendly but when a guest says they are tired it’s time to zip it and get them checked in. Not start a political conversation. Keep politics out of the check in process period. I don’t need to be worried something could happen to my vehicle because I don’t agree with you politically… and yes he knows what I drove because he was out front when I pulled up smoking.

Bad Desk Staff

Girl at desk obviously does not like her job. Rude, poor communication, I gave her ID and credit card and she handed card back so I put in wallet. Later she said I need to pay deposit. I told her I tried and she pointed machine on counter to my left other side of sign. Now she wouldn't even look at me. She held up ID for me to reach across counter to get as she only looked at computer. I asked about elevator as I have an arm in cast, no elevator and she didn't care. She informed me that they didn't have rooms on the 1st floor (they do). Morning staff was great! Nice greeting, eye contact, very professional. At least the day staff really liked their job!

Good deal on a jacuzzi room. Was not worth the headache overall. Had a limited budget and Expedia couldn't resolve the date for the night I made the reservation. They had to cancel my reservation. Which put my funds in limbo while I had to use my gas money to rent another room at a higher rate. (they charge a $20 cash fee at the hotel) On the listing it said "pet friendly" I casually mentioned it's nice they are pet friendly as I brought my pet parakeet with. And they then statedx oh that'll be another $10 also.. it just was a very stressfull cumbersome experience that turned a quick one night stay into a nightmare of nearly having to stay in my car.

I got this room for my anniversary for my wife, when we got there at 9:30pm. There was no hot water to fill the hot tub, he told me to give it 15mins. And later told me that one of the water heaters was out, he brought a thermometer gun and there was only 86° water coming out. They wouldent even give me a refund. So i tryed up till 12:30am and gave up and went to bed, Then this morning again we had to take a shower in luke warm water. And they could only offer the excuse, that they had a full house and didnt expect it. I am contacting my bank card company monday, i had my wife record his and my conversation. So I got him telling me one of the water heator was out. This was a cary disappointing anniversary for my wife and myself.

Pool was closed and did not say that online, jetted tub did not work. Thankfully the front desk attendant went out of his way to move us to another room with a working jetted tub even though management only wanted him to give me a $20 discount. Front desk attendant was great and did everything to help, management sucked.
