We ate breakfast in the Cafe and we both had stomach aches. Others with us hadvthe same issue. The slots were dirty, ash trays full everywhere. As a non smoker i didn't appreciate it.

I booked this room because it stated on the website that the HOTEL is now non smoking. However, when I arrived the whole place smelled like cigarette smoke. Apparently they still smoke in the Casino. If you have allergies, asthma or any respiratory issues don’t come to Pala. Also, the gym/spa closed for renovations and the pool closes at7pm. I was stuck primarily in my hotel but you could still smell smoke. Smoke travels. My sneezing stop in the early morning. Also, single travelers lock your doors for safety. Definitely not worth 500.00 for two days. The room are spacious and nice.

A one of a kind experience! Love the cleanliness and welcoming environment, downside was the checkout time not to friendly at all a little bit rude! But overall we had an amazing time and most definitely we will return soon

Information about spa and pool not given until check in. Spa won’t be open for approximately 2 years. Pool and jacuzzi are not open during the week. I had just checked in and the staff would not let me use the luggage carrier. I would have to wait 20 minutes until the bellhop came back from his break. Whole property understaffed during week Monday through Thursday. It was stated nonsmoking but people visibly smoking and the entire downstairs smelled very smoky. The restaurant had a very good Margarita pizza and a very good heirloom tomato and burrito cheese salad but there were a lot of knot flying around your face that you had to shew away while you were eating. There was one female person at the front desk that was less than inviting. Really needs a reality check on how to act with potential customers especially if they want them to return……I won’t be coming back.
