The staff on site were all friendly, this was my first time staying at a Motel 6 and I was very impressed by the hospitality of the workers. Ice machine on site and hot coffee first thing in the morning

Staff was understaffed at check in and it took over an hour to check in. Rooms are updated with a modern touch, but the glaze in the bathtubs/showers were peeling and had mildew in the seams. It wasn't the cleanest, as there was still hair from the previous guests on the counter and floors. We stayed for 2 nights and the second night we got back a little late and our keys did not work which was really inconvenient for us. Went to the front desk to get the key reprogrammed and the desk clerk was chatting on the phone and taking a while to do it and had to be reminded that we were at the window. The surrounding area is great because it's old town Temecula. There is always something to do, or eat, or shop there, and it's walking distance.

No relief from noisy neighbors!
The facilities were as expected, and there was no problem with them. The problem was the people in the room above me. They made noises, which I am not sure what they were, but they were constant until well after 2 in the morning. When they made the same noises the next night, I finally called the office to ask them to call the people about their noise. I was told that they had a child, and she couldn't tell them when to sleep. The noise kept up until nearly 4 in the morning. I was not offered another room or any other options for the inconvenience I was suffering. When I left I was tired and grumpy!
