I prepaid via Expedia. I specifically chosevthis propert as it specifically said all taxes and fees are included. It also said "No deposit"- this was a last minute same day booking that we made because power was shut off due to the fires and risk in our area.
When I arrive to check in, i was not greeted, I was told " ID and Credit card". Just like that.
I asked why they need my card for a deposit, since I already paid, it was nonrefundable. And the booking site stated no fees.
He said he wouldnt check me in without it. So I asked for the manager,, who they claimed was in a meeting, then on the phone. When she finally did come out, she pulled up the ICH website and showed me " you may be required to leave a deposit at certain properties. I told her I didnt book on thier site, i booked on Expedia which stated " no fees".
Very rude. Very condescending.
Next. They gave me a room at the very end of the hall, that seems to have been getting unfinished repairs done
When I turned the bath water on, the tub seemed to be clogged. I found they had placed a glued seal on the drainhole that I had to pull off.
I then noticed the drain pull and another drain part on the sink.
The shower curtains were much to short, therefore soaking the floor everytime we showered.
Housekeeping ignored the "Not ready" sigb placed on our door handle and started knocking on the door 40 minutes before checkout time, with no apology.
