The hotel is steps to the free gondola. The man who checked us in went down to the parking garage to tell my husband that one of the reserved spaces was available for him to use. The restaurants down the block were great. The only thing I wish there had been was a coffee maker in the room. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved the large room size, the tub/shower, and outside area behind our room. Overall, the facility was great. Only downside was no refrigerator or coffee maker inside the room; and that breakfast did not include eggs/bacon/sausage.

Camels garden is a gem. Excellent rooms, breakfast, and immediately adjacent to the Telluride tram. Almost ski in - ski out.

I recently stayed at this hotel while traveling with a friend. We each checked into separate rooms, using our own credit cards for the hold. Later, I found extra charges on my credit card and contacted the hotel. They informed me the charges were for my friend’s room. When I requested a written receipt with itemized expenses instead of a verbal explanation, the staff responded in a condescending and mocking tone: “Written? You want it mailed to you?” I clarified I wanted it by email, but they continued to make excuses and refused to send it, even though the charge was on my card. When I mentioned I would have to contact my credit card company if they couldn’t provide the receipt, the staff sarcastically replied, “Hah, for what?” This level of unprofessionalism was shocking. I’ve stayed at numerous hotels globally, but this was the first time I’ve experienced such rude treatment. It made me wonder whether their behavior was influenced by my appearance or accent. Advice to management: Be mindful of who you place at the front desk—racist or dismissive behavior has no place in hospitality.
 Advice to future guests: Avoid this hotel if you expect decent customer service.

Very nice hotel at the foot of the ski lifts. A couple of blocks from the mai downtown area.The room was large, comfortable and quiet.The continental breakfast was minimal. Everything else was great.
