Service was very friendly. Good: Room was large, had a fireplace with a stack of wood and matches provided, a small balcony, Directv, comfortable bed, nice and quiet. Bad: We couldn't figure out how to adjust the heat, bed had sheet & comforter so you spend the whole night throwing the comforter on & off as you get too warm (WHY DO HOTELS DO THIS?); fridge made annoying noise.

This property is all is expected! It was generally clean, but the staff and breakfast won me over most. They were so extremely nice and accommodating. I r thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property had a very 50’s/60’s roadside motor inn nostalgic feel to it which my husband and I loved.

Older but that was a plus. Clean, large room. Bed was ok. Wish i had brought my own pillow. Hearty breakfast with plenty of choices. No hot water at the sink. Shower was good. High shower head.

When we first arrived 2hours early, we ask about an early check in. They said the room was ready but wanted $27 early check in fee. At which point we left and came back later. We had already prepaid for a two stay and were very disappointed. They also had use sign a paper that they did not have daily room service unless we put out the door hanger requesting service. We did that and when we came back that night nothing had been done and we had to go to the office and ask for clean wash clothes. Although we had these issues we made the best of everything and enjoyed our time in Taos

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was authentic Taos and park like. Our room was large and comfortable with a fireplace… perfect for those chilly nights. The breakfasts were incredible with lots of choices. And they often offered a delicious spicy stew at their happy hour along with chips and salsa.

Great example of a very functional old school road motel. Think Route 66 but with an awesome free breakfast that satisfies most everyone. Aaaaaaand cookies in the afternoon evening for checking in.
