It’s a nice property, but it does feel like you’re getting charged for almost everything at a higher premium. Also, never heard of this before. They have an ironing room. They wouldn’t give us an iron. You have to go to the 3rd floor and iron in a room. You have to bring your close down there to iron. Also, when I got there I told the from desk I needed to arrange for a taxi to go home. I was told to wait until the day before I leave and order it from the from desk. I paid 130 euros when I get there. I go to the front desk the day before check out. Spoke with the clerk and he says I have to pay 170 EU. I asked why, they said because of the short notice. Which was the day before. Also, there is nothing around there you can walk to. In fact, we wanted to walk around but the clerk said too dangerous. You either need a car or take a taxi. It’s a beautiful property and it has a nice restaurant. For me it was kind of a pain to stay there.

Loved the property and the location. Views were incredible. Pool area was also beautiful, spacious and comfortable. I especially appreciated and applaud management for not allowing people to save chairs around the pool for the next day. We have been to other resorts where they have allowed this and in our minds, this very poor management and a disadvantage to other others who are paying equally to stay at their property. Bravo UNAHotels! You have a beautiful, well-maintained property. We would stay there again if we are afforded the opportunity to revisit gorgeous Taormina!!

Great views and comfortable rooms

Very nice seaside accommodations. Beautiful views from room and poolside. Comfortable room. Food was nothing special. Some surprising cheaper amenities such as no robes unless you asked for, minimal toiletries, paper cups for coffee and water.

Overall the hotel is beautiful with amazing views. The service is wondeful but the room can use somr sprucing up. Our toilet doesn't flush well. The restaurant onsite still charges cover for captive guests. The hotel is far from town and needs shuttle access which books up fast so advanced reservation is needed. The food is terrible onsite and overpriced.

The hotel is all about location - you’re paying for that and I think it’s not really worth the layout. The hotel itself is quite tired and the rooms need a good update and are pretty basic. The gym is old and small, no air con so got hot very quickly. The pool and beach are beautiful though.

Stunning views with beach location

We had a lovely stay at UNA Capotaormina. The reception was friendly and check in was easy with our room ready before the check in time. Although a bit dated the rooms are spacious and clean and the views are stunning. We deliberately chose the beach location but didn’t realise that due to the town being on a hill it’s quite impossible to walk into the town. However the hotel arrange a free shuttle (needs to be reserved) to and from the town throughout the day. The breakfast provided is sufficient, slightly limited on the hot food options. Pool area is beautiful and clean with bar service.

Gorgeous setting, the seaside views were amazing. Property is very nice and well maintained. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Driving and parking in the Taromina area is very stressful, avoid renting a car if possible.

Gorgeous funky 60’s architecture with awesome outside spaces. Inside is a time warp needs help but the outside facilities made up for the interior. Don’t like the wasteful disposable plastic cups or paper plates for the pool area for the price. They could use melamine. We went out for meals since the food looked not so great. A pity since they have the best location at Taormina.

The hotel sits right on the water! As you walk into the hotel and your room, you might be a little disappointed in how dated the hotel is. However, it doesn’t disappoint! The location, the views, the l pool, and the access to the ocean are incredible! My frown became and instant smile. In the peak season, this place must be jammed packed with tourists! Breakfast has a nice spread and I was satisfied. Parking was extra per day. However, the free shuttle bus makes up for it. You don’t want to drive around looking for parking in the center of town and deal with the roads and busses. Make sure you know exactly when you want to head back to the hotel. If you’re before you’re scheduled pickup time and there’s no seats, you’re not getting on the bus! 6 to 8 hours in plenty to do see and eat! If you have a free half day, drive to Savoca if you’re a can of The Godfather. It’s a cute hillside town where it was partially filmed. Go early in the morning! You will thank me! Haha. The drive is not straightforward but it’s Sicily and it’s worth it! Overall, I’d stay at the hotel again! The staff was friendly and helpful. The upgraded room with and ocean and Mount Etna view was much appreciated!
