I made a reservation for a King room and travelled with 4 other couples that did the same. While checking in each couple was told king size beds were not available. When I interjected that I would understand if 1 or 2 couples were bumped I was certain they knowingly booked king size rooms without proper inventory The staff went out of their way to blame Expedia stating the booking interface had never worked. When I explained that I actually called the hotel and was told to cancel my original reservation, which was on sale, and rebook at a higher rate to ensure I got a king I did so with Expedia. I mentioned this and was told Expedia would have to give me a refund for the lesser room. Mon we each awoke to drilling at 8:00 am. Thinking this might have been an emergency repair the floor above mine .I called Tues complaining about the jarring sounds so early in AM. I mentioned the fact that 8:00 am was early for construction to start work on the floor above an occupied floor suggesting 10:00 would be reasonable. I was told the hour was agreed upon by the General Manager and the construction company no remedy was offered and the call was ended I received a call Tuesday after my second call regarding the noise telling me a room on another floor was available. Unfortunately there was 1 night left, I would be leaving at 6:00 am Wednesday and I’m an unpacker Horrible customer service

We reserved a room with a king size bed and we were given a room with 2 double beds. We were not informed of construction at the hotel and were woken up early every day with hammering and jack hammering in the floor directly above us.

For the money, stay elsewhere. Food is expensive in the one restaurant and its just ok. Our room way supposed to be Bay view, definitely was not with our tiny corner window. We tried to change rooms, they told us we could not because they were completely booked. We paid $800 for 2 nights in a mediocre hotel with no pool and a tiny beach area.

i did not like that i was told that i would be charged $100 for incidentals yet i was charged more than that. also the fact that the hotel does not own the parking is ridiculous. i have to pay for parking as well a daily fee, then i will not stay here again. parking should be free to guests staying

The property was convenient, but shortly after we entered our room, the sound of drilling above us was extremely annoying. To stop it, I intended to call the front desk .... but the phone did not light up! At that point, we just left for a dinner meeting and returned late to peace and quiet. I would not expect this from a Westin! Poor!
