The room was clean but it was kind of run down. They did their best to renovate but it was still noticeable in the rooms. The riverwalk was cool but not much close by for a quick meal. The shuttle took us to the port for our Carnival cruise so that was a bonus. Parking for our rental car was $10, which was very reasonable.

Room could and should have been cleaner - dusty dirty on top of air conditioner. The shower? Only 1 of the shower doors open so the second I turned on the water, I got soaked with freezing cold water!!! Why remodel half assed? Plus the water came out of bith the shower head and hand held no matter what position it was turned to!! For $300 a night you need to.spend more money on the rooms and less on the lobby!!!

This was our second stay. Both times, we had issues with the toilet running to the point where we had to turn the water supply off to sleep. It also took a long time to get hot water. It is a great location for the Riverwalk and the Straz theater.

Very Nice Hotel

We had a wonderful stay. Stayed here to go on our cruise. It was a quick drive to the port. The hotel was very clean and we ordered dinner delivered and we ate in the lobby with our family. There were 9 of us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We live in the area but this was our first time staying in Tampa. They are close to the riverwalk, so we did walk down to the river.

Yikes

The hotel was more like a motel from the 60s. While the room was clean. There was a bad smell in the room and throughout the hotel. The air-conditioning unit sounded like a freight train coming through the room. Would not return.

The hotel was very nice, however, for the price they should really provide breakfast for their guests. Also, parking should be included. That will be the only reason I won’t be staying there again.
