It was horrible. There was a hole at the bottom of the door a small child could crawl thru. The bed sheets and comforter had cigarette burns.. paper thin walls and loud ass people....smh. never again.
This hotel is dirty and unkept. The walls are dirty, the furniture is dirty, there’s holes in the walls, and the traffic there is mostly drug addicts and homeless people. I will say it’s my fault for not reading the reviews on this hotel but we just chose a spot for a one night stay that was not supposed to happen! The check in guy was nice I will say but other than that I would NEVER stay there again!

Old hotel - tv didn’t work, area is a little shady and it’s gonna be loud at night. All in all it was the cheapest in the area ($250 for 1 night at the nearby la Quinta), not an exciting room but there weren’t bugs or anything questionable. Just an old building. If you need a bed for the night it’s the move - wouldn’t bring kids here.
I made a huge mistake by not reading the reviews and just booking the Tampa Inn. When we arrived at 9:45 pm there was a sign on the locked door that said “be back in five or ten minutes”. I should have taken that as a warming. But I went back to the rental car and waited for 15 minutes and looked for a new booking. Well about 25 minutes later and no availability at any other hotel, I decided to bite the bullet and get our room. We were assigned room 339 and as I drove around the building to find this room, I almost hit three people enjoying a blunt. It appeared most people lived in motel and we were the only “tourists”. Well… we had this much invested so we had to see the room. Holy Toledo! I ran out of there it screamed bedbugs. Needless to say, we slept in our car
Well there were cockroaches and spiders. Hair dryer did not work. No blankets, just a sheet and a flimsy coverlet with holes. The mattress was firm and seemed clean. No tissues in the room. Oh and no breakfast....just coffee.
Toilet was leaking all night, the fire alarm battery was weak and making sound all the time even after I told them they didn't change it.The over all experince was bad.
This was the filthiest hotel i have ever been to. There was loud music till 12 at night and i ask 3 different staff member for an extra pillow and blanket wich never came.
I had been calling the hotel throughout the day, letting them know that my flights were being cancelled and delayed. When I finally got into town, my uber dropped me off at 2am. I get to the hotel window, no one is there and there is a sign taped to the window…..”come back in 10-15 minutes “. There are people sleeping on the side of the building and by the dumpster. People are walking back and forth, cars pulling in and out, that are not hotel guest. After sitting on the curb with my taser in hand, for about 20 minutes, I began to call the hotel. No answer. I began knocking on the window and door. I sat outside for almost an hour. I got in my room at 3:06am. For the most part, the room itself, was clean. The fridge had a big glob of growing ice and the shelves were broken, the sheets were very dingy, wrinkled, cigarette burns and the pillows were awful. And I was in a non smoking room. I ended up laying the blanket that I had with me for the plane ride, on the sheets to sleep on. This hotel needs to be updated, better quality bedding and definitely needs to improve the premises conditions. For 150 a night and Bush Gardens to be across the street, I expected better. I had to stay one more night after those two and ended up going across the street to the La Quinta. It was $10 cheaper a night and 100X nicer.
unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by the unkempt condition. The floors were not only dusty but also appeared to have not been vacuumed in quite some time.
The sheets on the bed were wrinkled and stained, which was incredibly off-putting. I couldn't shake the feeling that they hadn’t been changed after the previous guest's stay. The towels provided were equally disappointing—threadbare and stained, they felt more like rags than anything suitable for use.
The overall atmosphere of the room was uncomfortable, and I found myself constantly worrying about cleanliness. It’s unfortunate because the location of the hotel is convenient, but I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. A clean room with fresh linens is a basic expectation, and this hotel failed to deliver on that front. I left feeling dissatisfied and vowing never to return.
There were heroin needles with the tissues, blood on the walls and the sheets, bugs, dirty everything. Prostitutes outside of our door we couldn’t get our money back from the owner and the police said it was the 3rd time that week for needles. We had to send pictures in to Expedia and was able to get a refund thankfully. We ended up staying at the Holiday Inn next door
Caution for those who have family: this property is in a horrible condition: structural damages, disgusting rooms, broken appliances, unsafe conditions around the property and inside the property, the police came every night due to altercations in the hotel, towels were dirty, etc. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL, THIS IS A SHELTER!
This place is a complete dump. The room was filthy. Hair in the bathroom sink and tub, a sock from previous guest on the floor in the middle of the room. I was only there for one night and that was enough.
