Worn out & needs improvements.

This place was decent at most. Can’t say it was the worst place we’ve stayed. Definitely as outdated as my great-grandparent’s house. Things were mostly clean. We had 2 different one night stays before and after our cruise. First stay was a standard king bed. Clean, outdated, and had a pretty musty smell. Second stay we had a king suite. The room was huge, but half the lights didn’t even work. One light didn’t even have a damn lightbulb. The room had a very unpleasant smell, the couch/pull out bed was absolutely terrible! I wouldn’t have even given it away for free! The king bed, toilet, TVs, and couch were severely worn out. I’m not terribly picky, but definitely honest. I would stay there again, just to see if they made improvements. It is a pretty good one night stay before or after a trip but probably not for an extended amount of time.

The room was spacious and the beds were okay however furnishings were outdated and worn. The floors turned our socks black immediately and the dust on the lamps and baseboards was gross. The smell of bleach and unknown odors was off putting as well. It was the dirtiest room we have ever stayed in.

The front desk staff was exceptionally welcoming and professional; however, I was surprised to find that the property did not meet my expectations. I felt unsafe and found the cleanliness to be lacking during my stay. Additionally, I was unaware that the accommodations were structured more like a motel, as this was not clear from the online images. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

Restaurant downstairs was excellent for breakfast. Maintenance guys were super friendly, and carried my suitcase for me when they saw me struggling with it. Room wasn't bad. Big bathroom. I noticed a few days after checking out, I was charged an extra $420 out of the blue... I had to get my bank involved to get a refund. Interesting how $420 was just off by a small amount of my original bill, and the front desk couldn't explain how it happened or why. I was also told my deposit was released but I never received it. I cleaned my room myself before I left. Don't smoke. It was a little off-putting to never get that $100 back. This all happened like 2 days before Christmas, I was not happy. Diner downstairs is good, but not so great I can overlook the financial mishaps. Won't be staying again.
