Great location but, honestly, nothing else

Frustrating hotel. Great location carries the day. BUT ... No chair in your room for the desk- you are to use an ottoman, with no back support. And, they are cheap with towels. In a room for two persons, there were two towels. Two. Please don't wipe downstairs or you are SOL. There was no coffee in the room. When I went downstairs to the coffee shop there was a 15-20 minute single line of people buying all manner of breakfast. That's because the hotel's restaurant is closed for breakfast. A hotel worker got me a cup of coffee from a pot he claims is on the side of that long line with a sign for hotel guests. I didn't see it. Honestly, this was a glorified Motel 6 with the exception of the incredible location for inland Tampa and one very personable young male bartender.

Not happy about the hotel parking

Was not aware there was no parking for motorcycles only cars valet parking. We had to leave the bikes in a public parking lot and payment was only to 9 am which we had to check out early and I was not happy about that when I wanted to enjoy the morning in the pool area and a nice sit down breakfast

Amazing customer service

This is a beautiful hotel, which I have stayed in before. Unfortunately on my arrival I slipped and fell pretty badly on the pavement outside the hotel. The staff were so lovely and kind - they rushed outside to help me, and to make sure I was ok. They then upgraded me to a suite, and made sure to check in on me on the days that followed. Thanks to all the staff for your concern and kindness, and for making me feel very cared for. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Tampa.

Checked in at 5 o'clock and room temperature was 57 degrees. Shut off a/c and turned on heat after 4 hours was only 64 degrees. Then moved from back of hotel to front corner room at 9:30 at night. Very noisy, toilet didnt work, tv remote didnt work. Had to check out at 6 on Saturday night due to familymedical emergency, no compensation at all !!
