Horrible shuttle service and hotel smells of smoke

I flew in for a short overnight near the airport and selected a hotel with airport shuttle. It was the comfort inn and suites. I waited about 15 minutes on a shuttle and then the shuttle driver picked up 6 other people at the airport and dropped them all off at 5 different hotels on opposite side of airport before taking me to my hotel. I was in the airport shuttle for over 45 minute driving around, dropping people off at various hotels. Once I FINALLY got to the hotel, I asked if it would be just as long in the morning, and she said that they Airport shuttle only leaves once per hour. And yes, I should probably go an hour earlier. I did NOT go an hour earlier and thankfully I was fine. But this was ridiculous. When I finally got to my room, it was near the elevator and completely smelled of smoke and marijuana. I asked for a new room and was denied. Horrible experience.

Turned heat on . Within 10 minutes the fire alarm went off. Ran downstairs took 5 minutes for the desk to respond at our room. Alarm still going off! She came up again and said it’s the heater, apologized said I would get a discount. This is around 10 pm. Running downstairs with no shirt on , my shorts are inside out! Haven’t seen any discount on my card either. What a fn joke!!

Pros: Very nice staff (shuttle driver and front desk). Easy access to Wawa for snacks, a food truck for Mexican and the option of room service for bad weather. Cons: Only one really is pool and hot tub are good weather only (outside).

Suits it's purpose but could be better.

Walls are thin and it smelled like weed. Our room was clean and comfortable but the pillows are practically nonexistent. Breakfast was adequate.

Nice and all but ...

For the most part it was good. No hot water the second stay. (It magically worked after calling downstairs) Olga was helpful over the phone. Allowed to check in early with no charge which was nice. Wouldn't stay there again due to the attitude of one desk personne especially towards some of the guests that may have been living there. Overall this chain is a go to place on the regular. Just not that particular hotel. Yes it's clean and decent. Just the unfriendliness and cold attitude and water was unacceptable.
