After one use of the bathroom we found the toilet in our room was clogged and not flushing. We had to leave out of our room just to use the bathroom. When I brought it up to the front desk, they told us that maintenance was not available and they would come up with a plunger. They also told us that there were no extra rooms because it was a very busy week. Which I find hard to believe, so you mean to tell me if the plunger did not work. We would’ve had to stay in a room with a clogged toilet? Unacceptable. House keeping also did not come to our room, with we were not aware of until we returned for the day. I would not book this hotel again.

Nobody can sleep in a hotel with those conditions. The sofa was rust… imposible to sleep. Bathroom full of roachs. The Staff couldn’t helps us with anything. The said if we booked from Expedia they can’t help. Really a bad experiencie. We left the hotel asap and they did not refund anything.

The property was rated 8.2, but I thought it was more of a 6.5 or 7. It needs updating. The staff was friendly, clean, and supportive. However, the condition of the property seemed aged, and upgrades were needed. We paid $225 for the room which would normally be in the low to mid $100s because of hurricane workers taking most of the rooms. The hotel chain was taking advantage of the recovery efforts with their rates.

Outdated decor, roaches inside the rooms, Had to extend my stay by another week and they wanted to charge me 3 times the original cost for a week. Luckily i found another hotel for less and was a Marriott. Tampa hotels are pretty sold out due to Hurricane.
