I have stayed at Illume Taipei many times and I continue to come back whenever I need a place to stay in Taipei. The property is modern, clean and very welcoming. The property is nice but that’s about it for what it is the service is terrible they can not follow basic instructions if you put do not disturb it mean do not disturb period why would you call the room asking about the clear sign that you provided that makes no sense then the house keepers come to the room and try to open the door WHEN IT SAYS DO NOT DISTURB like how hard is it to follow a basic instruction if someone does not want to be bothered then don’t bother them also it was a minor inconvenience but room service isn’t even available til 11:30
