We booked the Deluxe Double Room with a window view facing towards the Rainbow Road of Ximending. The room was very big and spacious with a wardrobe to place out luggage and a couch for us to "people watch" into Ximending. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. One thing to note is you have to close the bathroom door when showering because the steam will trigger off the smoke alarm (they post a sign about this in the bathroom). It's also very convenient that the Ximen Station Exit 2 and 3 are right outside in front of the building.

Great place to stay in Taipei. Easy access to metro and lots of dining and shopping options nearby. Room for three adults (sofa bed) was very comfy and clean. Felt very modern and was nice to come back and relax in room after a long day out. Tons of great cheap places to eat nearby. Didn’t do breakfast. Got breakfast out every day since places open early. Shower was comfy. Only rec is to have soap in both toilet room and shower room which are separate.

Overall very pleasant stay. Staff were nice and engaging when required. Close to Ximending markets and shops and other tourist locations taking the metro train or uber. Can get overwhelming and overstimulating with all the people and shops but after the 2 or 3 time it gets familiar. Accomodating with a later check out when asked in advanced. Bathroom amenities provided which is good to not have to bring them, only suggestion is to add body lotion. Another suggestion is to extend the house keeping times as only goes to 3pm and on the last few days when heading out later got caught out with it. Another suggestion is more variety of the breakfast or a buffet style if possible, while food was good but limiting at times when it’s the same for over a few days. In summary recommend compared to others when reviewing to stay at in the area.
