Good location and fairly updated interiors, but weak Wi-Fi and rooms are not well maintained. Mold gathered in some corners of the bathroom and cobwebs in the windows. Laundry room is inconveniently only open from 10:00 - 22:00.

Popular Hotel in Ximen
Good points - directly in front of Ximen Station and the crossing to Ximending. Check in/recep staff are very helpful, too. Rooms are decent sized. T&B seem to have been renovated recently. Bidet is nice and works properly. There's a 711 right below the hotel. Bad points - the hotel is old and you can feel it as soon as you enter. The entrance smells of hotpot because there's a hotpot restaurant at the lobby. There's always a congregation of noisy tourists at the entrance. The escalator going up is always wet and muddy especially on rainy days. Once, I used the bathroom at the recep floor and there was unflushed poop there. Inside the rooms, soundproofing is very bad. You can hear everything that goes on in the corridor - housekeeping, children running, doors slamming the screaming of unruly guests from the other rooms - including the rain outside.

The hotel is overall very nice. However, when you walked in the hall way to the room, the carpet was dirty, very old, loose. The room is okay but not enough cloth hangers. The electric toilet seat was not working at all. The elevator windows are dirty and cannot see to the outside. Hope that these can be improved soon.

Hotel location is very good and lobby is quite elegant. Breakfast is ok with lots of choice but taste is so so. Coffee is pretty bad quality, not sure it’s because of machine or coffee bean. Room is quite clean but a bit small compare to other hotel with similar price range.
