We arrived late in the evening and had a very difficult time locating the hotel since the building is set back off of the road. There was no signage at the road and the building itself was dark with no lit signage. Once we arrived the attendant was very accommodating, got some drinks for us. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was amazing!

Very clean property, clean bedroom and bath. Coffee was great. TV worked. Refrigerator came in handy for drinks. We have stayed at the Comfort Inns before in Florida, and we have always enjoyed our stay.

Nice place to stay

The hotel was fine. The front desk staff was excellent and friendly. The gentleman that did the breakfast set up was always about refilling breads, eggs, sausage etc. The hotel is a bit old and could use a facelift but nice to stay at. The McDonald’s and Taco Bell within walking distance is a plus

Worst experience for a highly rated hotel.

When we drove in to the building there were about 20 people smoking and drinking outside the main lobby. I wasn’t sure if it was the right place. So I slowly pulled over and checked the sign at the top and was completely disappointed to note it was comfort inn. I asked the manager who these guys were and his reply was a simply they are hanging out and they are staying in the building. In the middle of the night random people came and knocked at my door @4am. I shouted them it was not the right room and they came back and knocked again @4:30am. I had a 8 hour drive next day and couldn’t sleep well at this hotel. The breakfast was terrible the next day. This place is not worth rating 8 and it is definitely not family friendly.

The property was ok but I never got the linens for the sofa bed like I asked. And when the maid came around for the one & only time she only took out the garbage & didn't make the bed or clean. She also didn't speak english which should be a requirement.

Good Option

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was very clean and the staff went above and beyond. Syracuse has very limited lodging options and even fewer quality locations. The comfort Inn is a good choice. We have been coming to Syracuse for 4 years. I wish we had tried this option sooner.

This hotel is rated 2 star. I would rate it a 4 atar. Room is large and clean. Neighborhood appear to be safe. Dinibg area need to be rearranged for better flow. Drainage issues in parking lot create puddles of water when it rains. TV remote need to come into the 21st century.
