Staff were great. I got in late and went straight to my room. After showering and hopping into bed I was immediately itchy there was hair through the sheets and just felt like there were bugs. I got bites on my legs and ankles in the morning I spoke to staff however nothing was offered. I spent the next few days applying creams etc.
Before leaving I completely stripped the bed so it would be changed fully.
We had 6 rooms booked for national board members travelling into Sydney and more than half had a terrible experience. We booked above average rooms and they had stains on carpet, furniture and bedding. The desk staff was so apologetic and changed the sheets himself for our international guest. Then there were bugs in the bathroom. We called after the first 2 has a bad experience and still others arrived with similar views. The cleaning needs an overall as we were very disappointed especially when some nights were nearly $400 per night.
Nice location but the hotel is just not clean. Hair on the floor and a foul odor on the second floor.

The water tap was wobbly,
sink was too small, its a struggle using it brush your teeth or wash your face Very dusty room, dust everywhere the carpet floor looks like was not vacuum for days.
My room had a very strong cleaning smell and it emanated throughout the floor. It was quite toxic. There was hair on the floor always and it wasn’t my hair. The strong cleaning smells to mask the sewage smells was very disgusting and off putting.

It was very bad experience, I will never forget that night I can’t sleep for the stinky smell coming out of the bathroom and carpet.
I always stay here when in Sydney.
Fantastic location, only a 10-15 min walk from central station, and a 10-15 min walk from the nearby parking garage which is pretty reasonably priced for the area.
The rooms are tiny, but always clean and tidy. And sound proofing isn’t great, as you can hear people in the hallways.
Check in and out is always easy, especially if you’re like me and always arriving late at night.
