The room should have been serviced both days we were there.
The bathroom eas small and water from the shower made a pool of water in the other areas.
Great location as it's close to many restaurants in the Kings Cross area, as well as the Kings Cross metro station. The room I was assigned was quite large as compared to other "boutique" hotels that I've stayed at in Darlinghurst. There is also a terrace patio with a nice view of the Sydney skyline. What I really liked about this place was the laundry room in the basement. They are free to use but you need to bring your own detergent. Another thing to note is that reception tends to close early on Sundays (they were closed by 1:30pm) even though one of their messages before I arrived said check-in was until 2pm on Sundays. This is good to know since the hotels.com description just says check-in is after 2pm
Great central location to a big range of dining options, as well as supermarkets, coffee shops, patisseries. 2km walk to Sydney CBD, or 2 stops on the train to Town Hall Station
Apartments are a 100 metre walk to Kings Cross Railway Station.
Apartment was well insulated from cold winter air. No street noise at all, a little noise from other guests entering or leaving their apartments.
I’ve never been greeted so politely and warmly when checking in before (literally!). Everyone was so friendly and my room was a really cost-effective way to stay in Sydney for a few days. Bed was comfy, everything was clean - very happy stay. Thank you!
The apartment hotel was not spacious but it was set up really good as it has a place for everything. Our room has a functioning kitchenette and it helped us save money since we were able to cook easy meals, lessen the need to eat out. There is Harris farm market right across where you can find fresh fruits and vegetables. The rooms are soundproof. Having laundry amenities are convenient too. The train station is walkable. The only downside is they don't have 24/7 receptionist. We checked out early Saturday and dropped off our key cards at the front desk. The lobby door opens automatically when you go out but will need a key card coming back when outside office hours. When we checked out, the door slid closed with one of our luggage left inside the lobby. With no key card to get back in, we have to call the manager but we only got voicemail. Good thing, there was a couple who also checked out and they opened the door for us. We then were able to get to the airport on time. It was a good experience overall, though.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
First the positives:
1. Fairly clean. Not perfect but clean enough to exist in.
2. Very nice staff.
3. Location close to trains/buses.
4. Upper level rooms have no bugs including bed bugs.
5. Rooms are very quiet. There is not much outdoor noise.
Now for the negatives:
1. Towels are changed once a day...except when they aren't. They tell you upon check in to leave your towels on the bathroom floor if you would like them changed. Most days they were changed but sometimes they weren't. So don't expect to get showers EVERY day.
2. The whole bathroom floods when you get showers.
3. Room is EXTREMELY small. So small, I jammed my toe walking to bed.
4. There is nowhere to sit so plan on sitting on the floor if you don't want to sit on the bed.
5. Bathroom sink is too small to use so you need to brush your teeth in the miniature kitchen area. Sink is bigger there.
6. When toilet paper is empty you have to go to the front desk and ask for more. The room cleaners ONLY replace towels.
7. The hotel is on the next street over from an adult area. It is very seedy.
Bottom line: The room was fine for us because we were out all day every day. We just needed a bed. Would we do it again or if we could have seen into the future? No.
And this is on Travelocity...they charge to "upgrade" to a deluxe studio and it is the exact same room as the studio. So if you been here...go with the cheaper regular studio.
