Friendly staff. Location was excellent. Cafe next door was convenient. Very thick dust on skirting boards. Bathroom drawers were filthy, so didn’t use. Mildew in bathroom. Dirty cutlery. Poor amount of cooking equipment and utensils. Would have liked more secure luggage storage, rather than just roped off just inside the front entrance. Coffee machine frequently stopped working, requiring staff to attend.

This is a great property near darling harbour, very walkable, great restaurants and attractions near by. The room itself had a full kitchen, washing machine and dryer. The only downfall was the bed was two twin size beds squished together which made for a hard line between the two beds when trying to sleep beside a partner. Staff was super helpful, friendly and very informative. Would recommend to others coming into the area. Especially for long stays.

Give it a go.
Great location with a reasonable tariff. I understand refurbishment is underway but a good spring clean and scrub wouldn't go amiss in the meantime. Having to go to reception for items one would expect to be in the room, eg: dishwash liquid, was a nuisance especially when only one lift was working involving 5-10 minute wait. Reception was very friendly though. I would stay there again as long as the tariff remains attractive.

Our room was extremely noisy, could not sleep at all, all night. Not soundproof, the room was dirty there was literally hair in the bed, the night stands had stains all over them, the mini fridge had dust all over it and there was nothing in it, so in the middle of the night I had to walk in freezing rain to go buy a drink across the busy road. We had NO phone in our room, so I had to go down to reception to ask for extra pillows- twice! Cause the first time no one came We had NO hairdryer in our room even though it says on the ad they do, so again with no phone off to reception I had to go with wet hair to get a hairdryer. Honestly never had an experience like this will never go back especially having no sleep

Location: I loved how close the hotel was to Darling Harbour, such an easy walk. It was also close to QVB which was great for some shopping. The staff were friendly and the cleaners happily attendes to our room whilst we were present. Overall facilities were clean however i did find there was scum build up in the bath which was icky. At the time there was only one elevator working which at times was frustrating, but can't be helped. Parking is tight, i have a small car so it was ok however anything bigger then a small car is not suitable for the tight parking. I did note there were some other options for parking near by. Overall I had a lovely stay and would stay again.

The hotel room was more spacious than expected considering it was in the heart of the city. Lots of places could be reached by walking and there were many dining choices. However the check in was very unsmooth and staff was unfriendly and rigid. We booked two rooms with one name having the English name which was not on the ID. While everything could confirm we were the real booking persons, the staff just said it was a company policy to exactly match and we had to change our booking with our agent before 5pm (it was 3 pm then). The hotel was quite old and cleanliness was not impressive. When we stepped in the room, there was strong smell of bleach, after the bleach smell has gone, the room was a bit smelly (perhaps that's why they had to use strong bleach to cover). Some sticky brown liquids was on the kitchen floor. Lastly, the room had a balcony (which was good) but since the hotel was near main roads and a bridge, and the windows had poor sound proof, it was noisy at night which made me hardly sleep well.

Awesome location close to darling harbour didn’t help one of the lifts weren’t working for the week so took ages to get to and from the room with no stairs! Apart from that affordable and convenient

This property is just on the cusp of being “old”. It’s tired and despite its great proximity to Darling Harbor and dining, the hotel itself is lacking. Paper thin walls means other guests noise intrudes and the one working lift is very slow. There is little parking onsite and it must be pre-booked and if you have a car any larger than a small hatchback you may not be able to even get in. It’s tight and the corner are a nightmare. The allocated spots are shallow and narrow and stress inducing. Better options close by.
