Staff were friendly & professional. They got us into our room early which was fantastic after a long international flight. The mushroom gnocchi & ceaser salad we ordered from room service was great. Room was nice, good layout, great shower. The only problem was they were renovating several floors above so had to listen to the jack hammers for several hours until they stopped st 4pm

After a flight back from Malaysia that started at 2am yesterday morning we woke to the persistent sound of drilling in the wall of the room next door. I am astounded that Rydges would let a room next to a construction site and suggested on check out that they not re-hire it while construction was underway. Am not convinced from the response that this was taken on board. Avoid Room 116

Exceptionally convenient
Directly opposite International terminal. Cross the street and you are at the check in desk! Standard, no frills, hotel rooms. Bring your own bottle of water or be prepared to pay $8 for a 600ml bottle. Rooftop bar has fantastic runway views and sky high prices to match.
