The views of the runways are spectacular for plane spotters although looking out the window was inconvenient due to a very poor layout. Room was smaller than expected. Website says FREE SHUTTLE which there is not as I was informed when calling for it by the very limited Easter reservation staff. I was also told that if we took the bus there was a 10 minute walk. This was actually not true but with a 5 week holiday underway with large suitcases we opted for a taxi to the door which set us back $48 for a very short ride. The bus was literally a few metres away!! Meals were lovely. We had been recommended the rooftop bar but it was closed. Not a good start for our 50th Wedding Anniversary, not even a complimentary wine either, disappointed overall.

I only ask three things when i pay the additional cost stay at an airport hotel. Convenient location, tick. Good nights sleep, tick. Hot shower to be fresh for the travel ahead, fail. Water was fine but completely empty shower wash.
