Very convenient to the North Sydney oval which was the purpose of our trip We found the hotel difficult to locate after dark, the Rydges sign is not illuminated well enough

The property is very recently renovated and everything is new and clean. The breakfast was very enjoyable and the room was spacious and furnishings were modern and tasteful. We did ask for a couple of things and the service was prompt and friendly.

Too much construction going on, I wish I had known before I booked in. Loud and noisy when trying to sleep. Difficult to access due to driveway full of construction vehicles. When I finally got myself and luggage in I was shown a computer screen to check in even though there are staff standing there not busy. To go through a self check in that then didn’t even work. No phones in the room to call reception or order room service so unsure how you are meant to reach anyone. All looks good but poor planning and lack of service.
