After reading other reviews I was considering cancelling, thankfully I did not. We travelled to Sydney for medical reasons and Mantra was the place to stay for us, we had a two bedroom, two bath ensuite unit and was very pleased with the quiet, comfort and conveniences the Mantra offered, beds were comfortable, the unit was clean and the toiletries supplied were of a high quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the unit had every convenience we would want at a very affordable price. I would definitely stay again.

I appreciated fresh towels on the second day of our stay. Parking was difficult, as access to the underground car-park was unavailable due to the height of out vehicle (>2m). We had to park in the car parks allocated to adjacent businesses.

Rooms are dirty, keys don’t work in the doors when you leave and come back. When you walk in through the carpark you can see all of the dirty laundry just sitting in piles, the foyer area is dirty with mess in all rooms visible. I won’t be returning

DO NOT BOOK HERE - absolutely FILTHY and DISGUSTING. Black mould covered the bathroom, marks and stains on every surface, damp and musty, cockroaches in the dirty hallway, everything looks as if it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. P POOR STANDARDS AND HYGIENE!

The price was very reasonable for the area. The location is noisy with traffic, garbage pickup in early hours. The room was looking tired, needs a paint job. The mattress needs replacing. Not sure why you need to take a credit card reading for incidentals... there weren't any.
