We were busy, at a family funeral. Motel did its bit, comfortable bed, easy parking day and night, no dramas. On site kebab shop saved the day of our arrival - we were late getting in and it was open!

Budget stay that won’t break the bank

We stayed at the El Toro on our recent weekend in Sydney. The el toro is nothing flash, its budget but its friendly and the Westfield is within walking distance . The motel is attached to a bigger hotel ( pub like place ) that has a bar and gaming. The motel staff are friendly enough and when the tv in our room didn’t work properly they changed us to another room. The rooms have been upgraded which is nice, however the shower situation is interesting- it’s either scalding hot or freezing cold ! We experienced a few unexpected showers with that ! The Mexican restaurant that’s at the hotel is definitely worth a visit it’s a hidden gem and the food is divine !! We would stay at the el toro again, despite the somewhat dodgy area it’s close to most things ( for us the race track ) and services .
