Pros: Hotel staff were polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and had good furnishings and was mostly clean. Very good air conditioning, but was not quiet (I didn’t mind this). Come: The TV reception was poor (constant glitching on free-to-air channels), the carpet was good quality, however it needed a vacuum.

Don't normally go into too much detail in reviews, but it is the details that makes this hotel so great. I normally book chain hotels - Hilton etc but gave Amora a go given it had parking. Service at the counter was great, room was large and immaculate, but it was the small things, the throw back to how hotels USED to be that impressed me. A REAL old school mini bar with selections you used to see. Robe and slipper combo was great and having a bath in the room was also an added bonus. Couldn't fault my stay. Will be back.

A very nice property right in the middle of downtown Sydney. The pool area, spa and gym are nice and well kept. The bar is okay but we found the bar tender to be absolutely clueless about what he's doing. Everything is walkable from this hotel making it exremely convenient. The reems are nice and updated well. Staff is very nice and responsive to any request.

I was making a reservation for 3/3-3/6, & did not notice that the date had changed, in error, to Jan 28. The reservation was made the day before. I live in the US, so I never would have made it there in 1 day! I asked the hotel for a change of date, NOT A REFUND, & they were unwilling to do that. Instead, they charged me for “a no show”! 😠

Will definitely return. On a trip with grandkids. Great room. Lovely pool. Children’s menu could be better but the staff were very flexible and helpful so we were able to get what we needed for the kids.

Property is so dated, pillows had stains on it, business lounge canappes was average and breakfast in no means was 5 star standard, have to pay for omelettes.. reception was very unwelcoming and not friendly, lifts are so old and slow. Definitely not 5 star quality, maybe 3 or 4 star.

We enjoyed the pool and the location was fantastic and central. The property itself, decor, paint, and general maintenance was lacking. Rooms were well serviced and it was clean. Staff were friendly.

Big comfortable room

Has been a lovely stay. TV a bit awkward to use not much to watch, some channels do not turn down with TV remote on volume. If you have a car, I’m not sure if you where you’d be able to park it because when we checked in they didn’t say anything about, we came from wynyard station very close walk. Nice walk to Circular Quay. Bed big amd comfortable, spacious bathroom with bath and room. Classy looking hotel, men in black suits open doors at the entrance.
