Short Stay more beneficial, than a long stay.

I have stayed with in this hotel a few times, usually only 2-3 nights. This time I decided to make it the temporary stay whilst my long distance partner was traveling here for 10+ days! It was okay. They doubled charged my account and I noticed it in my account two days later and had to rectify it. You would think the hotel would notice a room had been double charged by such an extreme amount. The cleaners only made the bed during the whole stay we had noticed instead of changing the sheets. We were there 12 nights. For the last 4 days no cleaners had cleaned the room even though the sign was left outside the door stating we were “ out traveling “ for almost 10 hours each day those last days. So I would say overall; a short term stay is amazing for this hotel and it’s very friendly LGBTQ+ area and convenient to almost everywhere with in walking - or a short uber drive. Long stay I don’t believe the experience will be as good.

We stayed two nights at ADGE. Positives: Location was great, room was a good size, bed was comfy. Friendly staff and easy check in. Negatives: The room was clean enough but could’ve been cleaner - the bedhead was a bit “oily” looking and could’ve used a wipe down. There was also someone’s contact lens stuck to our wall. Apart from that, the rest was suitably clean. There was no natural light which is quite depressing - makes you very tired when you return to the room and you sorta lose sense of time. The carpark is insanely tight and small, and was annoying we had to call reception every time we needed to get in and out. The lifts were the worst part. They were insanely slow. There are two and it would take about 10 minutes to get to us - not even exaggerating. Think it was due to the cleaners holding them open to load trash and dirty linen in. But this went on ALL day, anytime you need to use the lift. So that was super annoying. Overall, fine for a cheap and quick stay if you don’t plan on spending much time in the room.

Absolutely impressed with our stay at the ADGE hotel. If there was more in different cities I would opt for the ADGE there also. Staff are informative and friendly, answering our questions at any time of the day. Rooms are tidy with basic amenities and gorgeous creative flair throughout. For future travellers, on business or holiday trips, I would highly suggest this establishment.

The key card leaves much to be desired. I had to, on a few occasions, keep going to desk b/c card didn’t work when I got to elevator . Also pillows are too bulky
