Lovely hotel…, except that the water takes at least 2 minutes and as much as 4 minutes to warm up…, very wasteful, not eco friendly! “The wake up call” around 6am, was the sound like a propelled aeroplane being chased by a police car with siren coming from, I think, down the duct of the bathroom exhaust fan. Other than these two things it was pleasant.

I have stayed here multiple times since 2015. Very convenient for transport links as within 5 minutes walk from Central Station. Property clean. A basic room is quite small but fine for my needs. Staff very helpful. No mouse or disturbance so always get a good nights sleep. Luggage storage facilities available.

Mediocre, but at a champagne cost. Middling if you’re desperate but there are better options in and around the central area that would give you more bang for buck. It’s one of those hotels that had windows separating the bathroom from the rest of the room so not great if you like privacy. Mercifully it had curtains but it always baffles me why hotels can’t put slightly more user-centered thought into room design and layout. It was quiet despite the central location. Staff ranged from (a) unhelpful and distrusting to (z) helpful and friendly.

The reception staff was very friendly. The rooms are spacious. They offer free Nespresso coffee in the lobby and free pastries for breakfast. A great (funky) boutique hotel in the heart of Surry Hills.

Great Hotel
57 hotel is a great hotel to stay in , near good transport links, Central Station and the light rail, also lots of buses pass through the area. Plenty of eating places in the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Bernadette who went the extra mile, 57 Hotel is my go to hotel when I stay in Sydney, I would recommend this hotel .

Great Hotel
The 57 Hotel is a great hotel close to trains and light rail, easy to get to city with lots of places to eat near by. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly especially Bernadette who went the extra mile. It is my go to hotel when I visit Sydney. I Would recommend this hotel to stay at if you visit Sydney.
