This hotel is right next to Emerald City Mall and the walking street. Great location with lots of good restaurant and amenities. Lots of areas to shop and dine. Great Location!!

I always stay at this hotel when I am in Suzhou, because there are many good Restaurants and amenities stores around the Somerset Emerald Hotel. Most important, it belongs to the Ascott Group.

We booked this hotel for a weekend trip from Shanghai. The location is excellent right next to the Emerald City Mall so it was convenient to go find food or fill up the day with shopping activities. The staff was very friendly and they have taxi service so it was very convenient to go around the city. Breakfast was good. not as many options to choose from but doable. The only downside to our stay was we were supposed to have a balcony but since the hotel exterior was being repaired the balcony was not accessible. They did not inform us this until we arrived at our room and there was a note in the room.

Location is good. It is inside a big shopping mall. Everything is available inside shopping mall. There are a number of restaurants. The room is equipped with a small kitchen, a refrigerator and a laundry machine. Staff is friendly and helpful. WiFi is provided and works well. There is a fitness room, but no swimming pool.
