What I liked: The location is nice, you're on the peninsula, the room was clean, the bed was firm (I liked it my wife did not). What I didn't like: OMG put some new carpet in the hallways already! Disgusting! $225.00 and no frig or microwave, no breakfast, no place nearby (that we could get into) that sells breakfast.

Probably wouldnt book again
The place was very dated. One trash can didnt even have a bag in it. We only booked because of the option of a casino on lodge property.. which we found out has no table games nor bingo Monday-Wednesday. Of course we booked for a Tuesday. So the inflated room rate due to the casino on property option was not worth it in my opinion. Staff were all VERY Friendly!

Disappointing stay
Check in staff was rude. Carpets worn and dirty. Outdoor rec area was in disarray. Bedding was old. Still using bedspreads that likely are not launched are each use. Don’t stay here.

The pictures online look nothing like the property. Way, way overpriced. Only 2 pillows. No refrigerator, no shade on balcony, no breakfast. I recommend going to the casino and getting ripped off twice!

The property is dated but our room was not lacking anything. The staff was a very friendly. We had a nice view of Suttons Bay from our sliding glass door. There were yard games and sitting areas out back that you could use if you were so inclined.

The property was very nice with a beautiful lake view off our balcony. The only thing that could have been better was that neighbors were frequently smoking on their balcony so the smell carried to us which impacted our enjoyment of the open air feel.

The hotel was full, but was still very quiet. I didn’t hear all the other guests. Which was nice. Nice and clean rooms. Beautiful setting. Beautiful view.

Check in took 30 minutes. There was only one guy working at 5:00. He admitted he did not usually do check in. The man was very nice and did his best however,when check in starts at 4:00 you should have at least two people working to get folks in as quickly as possible. Also, first time ever checking in to a casino and not getting any coupons for food or or play money for gaming.

Location fine for seeing the area and casino is something to do if you get bored. The lodge is nothing to rave about except the location. The carpeting in our room was absolutely filthy, It was so dirty you could no longer see the pattern, except by the wall where no one walked. It was basically black in the walkway between the beds and across the front of the room. I wore socks the entire time in the room and they were black and gross on the bottom after one evening! I wouldn’t stay here again for $209 a night. They could spring for some new cushions for the outdoor seating area, the ones out there were disintegrating and faded from the sun and filthy to sit on. If you wanted to sit out, I’d reccomend a large towel to cover the cushions. It would be a good place to stay if they’d clean it up and pay attention to some details.

A beautiful view
this hotel has a bus to take you to the casino and back you didn't have to drive you could have a drink with no worry's who would drive and the view was pretty.
