Beautiful area to picnic near the lake/pond. This a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, since Covid they no longer have a restaurant, hot tub and the adjacent restaurant has closed. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The only thing I liked about this place was the staff. The add says that there was a spa, 2 restaurants, fully HC assessable, fitness area. The spa doesn’t exist. In order to get into the fitness area, there’s a tall step to get in. NOT assessable! It was very loud. I reserved a room by the pool. I couldn’t even see the pool from my room. In the morning I went down to get coffee. There was a kurig, but you had to get the pods out of a vending machine. This place has so much potential! Unfortunately that’s all it is, potential.

The area around the hotel was great. The bed was a little on the soft side and the pillows could have been better but overall it was clean

We were looking forward to celebrating a birthday at a nice hotel but what we got was: Cold Pool and closed an hour early-some 3rd party websites show a hot tub that is boarded up--i was told the hotel is not responsible for what they post--what? when something breaks/gone you need to tell your advertisers The arcade was a financial rip off--most games broken (coins stuck in slot), the claw- the prizes were so tightly packed that no one could win, the game with lightbulbs--we won so many times and got nothing for the win. EVERY vending machine that had water was broken-took money and gave nothng--Kuerig coffee was available but no cups or cream etc The room427 was facing a burnt out grass area with broken doors windows and siding lying unprofessionally on a trailer, and the UNBELIVABLE part was the window opened, no lock, no screen, 2 floors up--I have a child that sleep walks! The beds were FUTONS!- pull out couch comfortable. No fan in bathroom--gross and shower curtain was so used and did not fit rounded rod..water got all over bathroom floor during shower. We were given a map with a mini golf section that does not exist. I did speak to the front desk on the evening of our stay and was told they are not responsibloe for what a third party puts on website (what?- allow false advertising!) and all the other issues with vending games etc is a outside comapny and cannot help--i was told to go to CVS at 11pm at night for water? We traveled 2 hours for junk hotel/service! ;(

The rooms were filthy, walls dirty, bathroom had soap scum, pull out couch was stained and had holes bed linens stained are room was supposed to have a balcony and did not have one.

The entrance area was filled with weeds and the outside structure was in disrepair. It appeared the outside area was neglected for an extended period of time. The room was musty and not clean, small cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling. Was on the second floor and the balcony was wooden, rotting and appeared unsafe. The staff reported that they were undergoing renovations, but I don’t know if that is feasible for what needs to be done

This hotel has not had a weed pulled in a year. No outside maintenance at all! The outside windows are completely falling apart. They haven’t seen putty or paint in many years. It is shameful. You advertise there is food and there is NOTHING!! I want a refund!! It is awful!

The hotel was really rustic, lake was beautiful for fishing and a little picnic. It’s nice for a little getaway, the location was awesome, it had a ton of good places to eat close by. I am giving 5 stars because of how nice staff were to us, would definitely come back. Don’t believe all the bad reviews, this place is indeed a little older than hotels but it has a nice charm to it.

The hallway smelled very musty like there had been a roof leak and it was festering. The room itself was pretty clean but the bathroom was gross. There was black mold or mildew behind the toilet. Toilet top was dirty. This hotel has seen better days. The miniature golf course is a weedy field.

The bar is permanently closed, and the hot tub has been removed. The pool is only open for very limited hours that do not work for guests who are only staying one night. There was no breakfast. These are major reasons why we went here and had we known this we would have gone elsewhere.

This property is run down dirty and most of the on site dining facilities are closed. It appears no maintainance has been done to this property in some time. The parking lot is all broken up.

The property was advertised as having a restaurant and bar. It has neither. I'm sure in the 60's it was state of the art but the charm is gone. For the price the the room was fine though. The Lake was also great for scenery
