We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Wellsworth hotel. The hotel/room was clean and comfortable. We also had dinner at the restaurant on property. It was wonderful. We will stay again when we are in the area.

Pretty good stay. Pro: very nice looking hotel with a very friendly staff. Very good price. Cons: food at Shades was a mixed bag. Also it was pretty loud at times. Highly recommend requesting a room away from the street and as far away from the elevators as possible.

The staff and property were nice. The room was large however the room I stayed in was an interior room meaning the windows faced the lobby and not outside so I had to keep my blinds closed for the majority of my stay. I'd prefer the windows face the outside to get natural light. I wasn't advised of this when I checked in or when I booked the hotel. There is also a restaurant on site but the food was just not good.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

room smelt like pot, pool got closed bc of kids and adults running around like crazy. wedding going on kids and adults running all over the hotel. women screeching thru the hallway as we are trying to sleep. hotel front desk was either not there or useless saying the manager will contact us. they never contacted us!

The property was clean and had a nice bar. The room was spacious and well designed. The front desk staff was helpful. Compared to properties near Old Sturbridge Village, it felt like an upgrade. The downside is that the breakfast buffet was quite expensive. We used it once and it didn't seem like good value. The property should have a low-cost ala carte option. We had to drive into town to find a coffee shop.

POOL HOURS

Wishing that the gym and pool area would open earlier. Some of us are early risers 5am and would like to use those facilities before they get inundated with families.

Too bad when we went it was winter, so we didnt get to hang out in the courtyard due to it being closed for the season. BUUTTTT love the stay anyways. The rooms were clean, staff was super helpful! Pool area was excellent as well.
