I’ve stayed at this property a couple of times before specifically because they are pet friendly. The front desk gentleman is very friendly, very nice and helpful as well. The room was clean, and it was quiet. I definitely plan on staying there again.

The water control in the tub was difficult to control. The room could use a deep clean. There was dust and dirt under the sink and tables.

The place is pretty large and rundown and in an area that does not feel particularly safe. When I was first entering the room, suddenly three police cars came up and the cops went and started banging on a door of a nearby room. They then spent the next half hour conversing with a woman, trying to find out the whereabouts of her boyfriend. Not a good start to the evening. Then it gets worse. First, the room stank of cigarette smoke. Second, there was no telephone in the room. Third, the television did not work. Last, there was a problem with the door lock which kept on automatically re-locking every minute or so, editing a loud "click." This was not conducive to sleeping. I then asked the clerk if I could switch rooms, which thankfully he allowed me to do. This room, which was on the front side of the building (as opposed to the original room in the back), while extremely basic, was completely fine. Why was I put in this not-ready-for-primetime room at first, and not given the available working room? The only thing I can think of is that I had a dog. The motel advertises itself as dog friendly, so if that's truly the case, you shouldn't treat pet owners as second-class citizens. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this motel again.

I was made to leave because of my dogs and they were not the ones making noise. I paid for 7 days and only stayed 5. They should not say they are pet friendly because they are not. Also they charge $20 a night for each animal.

FIX THE HEAT!

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Would have been an excellent, basic, affordable hotel BUT the room was 86 degrees, hot-air heat BLASTING, when we checked in on a 12 degree January night. We immediately turned the heat down as low as the thermostat allowed and opened the window/door. We had a very UNcomfortable stay because the room temp never got below 79 degrees without the heat coming back on. Thermostat kept going back its pre-programmed temp and the guest-controlled override only works for an hour.

the stairs and walkways were very slippery. Bed was not comfortable. shower curtain had mildew or black mold on it. overall cleanliness of the bathroom was not great. heat would not go above 69. checking in process was quick and easy. staff i saw were pleasant.
