System was down and had to wait almost an hour to get checked in. Hallways were dirty and need vacuuming. Crumbs on the floors upstairs. Saw dental floss pick lying on the ground. No place to hang clothes in the room. The tv was not working. Bed hard as a rock. I left right after checking in to go to another hotel.

The floor in the common areas and the elevator were filthy and sticky. The ice maker on our floor didn't work. There was mildew on the shower and the tiles were poorly painted. The $75 pet fee is excessive. This hotel charges for incidentals that other hotels do not, like a toothbrush. There was coffee and tea available, but they charged for water because it was bottled.

So disappointing that Hampton Inn is pet friendly now with no designated rooms. What is the difference with no smoking. If you have pet allergies like me, you are miserable. You can't ever clean rooms enough to rid of pet dander and smell.
