Perfect stay
Love Portpatrick for a night away, 2nd time staying here, can't fault anything about the hotel, great price for bed and breakfast, they had a band playing the night we stayed. Staff are really friendly

disappointing self catering
basic self catering accommodation as we were not in the hotel itself. good service but unable to sort out the issues caused by hotel.com, ie we booked as B&B hotel .com. did not carry this through. beds clean but really poor mattress. needs a revamp and overhaul of beds and furnishing.okay overall for price we paid but would be really disappointed if peak prices were paid. excellent location

The staff, from check-in to departure were friendly and efficient. Our room was excellent - loved our seaview from the comfortable seats in the bay window! Our stay was fantastic value and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely overnight stay in Portpatrick
Had a really nice stay at the Harbour House. Staff were all very nice and helpful, building was exactly as I expected (homely) and bedroom was grand. Great view of harbour when I opened the curtains in the morning. Would definitely recommend and will be back for sure

Asked for ocean view and double room got apartment with view of houses never got there till 5 and hotel was full staff said they had moved everthing about mmmmmmonly paid £81 for apartment enjoyed our stay

Smallest bathroom I've ever been in. Room wasn't service in the 4 days even when I asked for the bins to be emptied. Breakfast very average and evening meals over priced.

Beware of live music
The hotel should mention that they have live music on Friday nights. Was on the top floor but could still hear and feel the music. could not sleep between 9pm and midnight. If I had known, I would have book elsewhere as we had to get up early and leave in the morning. People in the room close were so noisy.

Nice view of harbour in 4 bed room .. although music from bar on Saturday night was a bit loud till midnight. Staff were friendly and overall nice stay for a basic hotel.
