Beautiful hotel and surrounding area. Lobby was gorgeous with a fireplace and comfy chairs and couches for relaxing. The pool and hot tubs are heated and we were able to use in the evening even though the outside temp was 46 degrees. Fire pits near the pool were nice. The room was gorgeous with cathedral ceilings, view of the mountain and balcony. The price of the food and drinks was outrageous though and disappointing. The least expensive glass of wine was $15 for only 5 oz. I think the hotel should at least offer free coffee and teas and water throughout the day/ evening...nothing was free.

The lodge was very nice but after traveling all day we arrived over an hour after normal check in time and we wanted to change before going to one of our scheduled tours. At check in we were informed our room still was not available. We paid over $500 for our room and we had to leave to our tour without changing or freshening up and had to check in after the tour and dinner. They offered us two free drinks at the bar but my husband doesn’t even drink. I did go to use them at the bar and all the drinks I had asked for they were out of so I finally just asked them to make something fruity. The drinks were terrible and I ended up throwing it away. Pretty disappointed with the stay considering our room was not even ready for well over an hour after scheduled check in for such a high priced room. Other than that the room was nice and hotel was well maintained. It is pretty far from the town but is in a nice area.
