Stowe
The Inn is very quaint, clean, friendly professional service. We love this area of Stowe. The only disappointment is it was a very cold snowy weekend and they did not have the fire in the common area burning any of the days we were there. They continue to not service rooms since Covid and don’t know when they will be doing that again. Not sure if it’s a staffing issue or what the problem is, but I feel that it’s a disservice to the housekeeping staff as we only tip if the rooms are being serviced. Having said those two things we will still stay at the end. It’s very lovely and the staff is very friendly.

Just an average hotel. The place looks dated and dark. The hotel and the room were clean, but looked as if they had seen better days. The staff looked the same. One front desk person in particular seemed unwilling to help when we asked for assistance with the thermostat. He stopped at is and it request for assistance. Cynical person. We only needed a place to sleep for one night. For the price, I guess we should not complain. It was “adequate”.

Our room was very warm when we arrived, the thermostat read 76*, we were unable to sleep at that temperature, but our air conditioner didn't work either- the knob was broken off and had no way to turn on. We were just told to crack a window (which had no screen).
