Good overnight stay, shame an external door was left unbolted and was banging in the wind all night. Reception un manned when I arrived so had to hunt for someone to check me in. Good food, and bar service excellent

Wonderful hotel, highly recommend

We stayed here to attend a wedding at Aston Marina which is 5 mins away in a taxi. Beautiful and spacious room (room no.1), very clean, luxurious toiletries, super comfortable bed and large bathroom. Staff are very professional and friendly. The breakfast is amazing. Highly recommended.

Great Place to stay

Pleasantly surprised by everything really from cleanliness, service and food. Nice touch from the person who prepared the room with a nice little message left on the side on my arrival. Nice Hotel if a little dated

Generally everything was fine for my needs, a quick overnight stay. I did feel that the decor was a bit dated and could do with a refresh in places. I didn't eat dinner so can't comment on the quality. The cooked breakfast was quite tasty but I felt it was a little overpriced for the amount of food you actually got. The only real 'bad' point, was the shower as it was next to impossible to get a temperature that wasn't either too hot or too cold. Location is good and everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Overall I would be happy to stay again!

I always stay at the Stonehouse when in the area as its a great hotel. It also is one of the very few hotels I look forward to dining in, as it has a SUPERB Curry restaurant.

Lovely stay.

Lovely hotel and garden arrived, checked in and had a G&T in the garden. The evening meal in the restaurant was absolutely delicious with friendly and helpful staff both in the restaurant and the bar. Lovely nights sleep in a four poster bed. The only downside was the shower had only two settings, scalding and off. We reported it to reception and the girl explained to us how to use a shower. I pointed out that we already knew how to use a shower. She did not understand that it had no control on it.
