Room was freezing. The heating didn't work. The reception did get a plug in heater, which was hot to touch. Also meant we only had one plug to use to charge 3 people's devices. Overall an ok hotel

The breafast is good value, the pancake machine is a nice feature. The biggest thing that made the stay so good though is the staff's customer service, it is unusual to find this level of helpfulness and friendliness these days.

Sorry sir, the hotel is out of pillows.
We booked a family room. The sofa bed was like a metal rack and when we asked for more than one pillow (wafer thin) each we were told that the hotel had run out of pillows….. It didn’t look even half full. Also we were proudly presented with a piece of paper at check in telling us breakfast finished at 10…..went down at 9.30 to discover they had decided (presumably during the night?!) that it would finish at 9.30. Still I got to have a moist bread roll…which I suppose was at least an experience I’ve never had.
