Solo Concert Trip

I stayed here on a solo trip to see a concert at Star Lake Pavilion. I’m always worried about my safety when traveling alone and this place made me feel nothing but safe! It’s about 15 minutes from the venue, gas station nearby, and three food places so close you don’t have to get in the car. I really liked the phone charging station, tv, shower, and the coffee available in my room. The staff was really nice and checked in with me during my stay via text. I do plan to stay here whenever I come back to see more shows in the future in the area.

I was in a 3rd floor room with my family. I don’t know who was upstairs in 4th floor room, but the noise from the people in the room upstairs made our stay extremely unpleasant. Incessant sounds of moving furniture, chairs, or luggage (?) for hours on end including over over 2 hours in middle of night kept us from sleeping well. At first we thought it was housekeeping since it was at 3 - 5 PM but it didn’t stop. When I go to a hotel I might read a book, watch TV , take a shower , not rearranging the furniture in my room for hours on end. What is wrong with people these days? Did Sisyphus stay upstairs from us?
